1. What is the difference between Raw Hair and Virgin Hair?

Raw Hair is 100% unprocessed hair, cut directly from a single donor at the temple. This makes it more exclusive, with all cuticles aligned and double-drawn to mimic the look and feel of natural tresses. Its texture has not been manipulated or steam-processed, so each bundle maintains its natural uniqueness.

Virgin Hair, on the other hand, is collected from multiple donors and then processed with steam or heat to create a uniform texture.

2. Can Tress Haus extensions be colored or lightened?

Yes. Each bundle can be lightened or colored. We strongly recommend having this done by a professional hairstylist to ensure the healthiest results and a seamless finish.

3. How many ounces/grams are in each bundle?

Each bundle weighs approximately 3.5 oz (100 grams).

For natural density installs, we recommend:

  • 14–16 inches: minimum 2 bundles
  • 18–20 inches: minimum 3 bundles
  • 22 inches & longer: minimum 4 bundles

4. What is the maintenance for Raw Hair?

Treat your extensions as you would your natural hair. We recommend washing every 2 weeks with a silicone-, sulfate-, and paraben-free shampoo, conditioner, and serum. If your extensions are colored, please use color-safe products.

Before washing:

  • Detangle thoroughly and brush out the hair.
  • Start with a clarifying shampoo to remove buildup and debris.
  • Follow with your favorite shampoo and conditioner.
  • Apply 10–15 pumps of a leave-in spray and a dime-to-quarter size amount of serum.
  • Blow dry and style as desired.

5. What is the Tress Haus refund & exchange policy?

  • All sales are final. No refunds.
  • Exchanges are available for items of equal value if requested within 3 business days of delivery.
  • Hair must remain in its original state, unaltered, and in original packaging.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping fees.

6. What is the Tress Haus shipping policy?

  • We only ship to confirmed addresses. Orders with mismatched billing and shipping addresses cannot be processed.
  • Processing takes 2–3 business days.
  • Standard U.S. shipping takes 5–7 business days.
  • We ship Monday through Friday only.
